IAS Presents聽Science with a Twist on October 17th, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Guggman Haus Brewing Company (1701 Gent Ave., Indianapolis).

This Science with a Twist event will feature a presentation titled Genetic Transformation: How The Last 15 Years of Advancement In Genetics Have Transformed Clinical Practice featuring Dr. Catherine Steding.

Dr. Catherine Steding鈥檚 love of research and teaching began in the accumulation of mutations in C. elegans and then expanded into the nature and behavior of cancer. She earned her PhD at Indiana University School of Medicine and has spent more than 10 years teaching both Molecular Biology and Genetics. She has held multiple professional appointments that include generation of new educational programs, serving as Founding Director of the Rich and Robin Porter Cancer Research Center at Indiana State University, and her current position as the Scholar-in-Residence for the Innovation in STEHM Education Learning Community at Marian University. She currently teaches both masters and osteopathic medical students at the Wood College of Osteopathic Medicine at Marian University.
